At Uhaus Residence, many residents work remotely often spending long hours at home with limited daily interaction. That insular routine can make it hard to connect, communicate, and feel part of a wider community, especially being international students this can feel even more difficult to fit in.

OVERVIEW

We created workshops that make it easy for people to talk, connect, and feel part of something again. Through simple creative tasks and natural conversation moments, residents get the space to open up, meet new people, and feel less alone, a genuine reset for anyone working solo day after day.

OUR APPROACH

The response from residents was overwhelmingly positive people left feeling lighter, more connected, and genuinely seen. Many shared that it was the first time in a long while they’d truly talked, laughed, and bonded with neighbours they’d only ever passed in the lift and hallway.
